Twelve checks before a position. Five numbers once a month.
Two printable pages, free, from the author of Running the Wheel.
What is on the two pages
The twelve checks that run before a position is opened — candidate, portfolio, market, trade.
The five numbers worth measuring monthly. The second one predicts drawdown better than anything else tested, and appears on no broker platform.
A blocked-position tracker with the six-cycle date, so a position that stalls has a deadline instead of a hope.
An exceptions log — including one line for the rule you nearly broke and did not.
Sending this signs you up for the card and the occasional note
when a new result is worth reading. Nothing else, no cost, and one click to leave
whenever you want.
I am not going to ask you for a review in exchange for this.
The card is yours either way. If the book turns out to be useful, that is a
different conversation and you can have it on your own terms.
Why this exists
Most of what is written about the options wheel has never been tested. I built a
simulator, wrote down every assumption, and ran the usual rules across twenty years
of real daily prices and twenty underlyings — eight of them chosen deliberately from
the market's disappointments, so that no result could be explained by picking winners
in hindsight.
Three of the most repeated rules did not survive. The card is the operational residue:
the checks and the numbers that were left standing.
